Fiddleback Fourlegged Friends

This is not my four legged friend but was related!

So I was out at a guys house today and noticed what looked like a very big dog in his back yard. I asked him what kind of breed it was and he replied "Wolf". Well I was not letting that go. Next thing I know we are in his back yard feeding his pet wolf. The family has had him for about 13 years and found him on the side of the road after the Wolfs family had been killed by a car. They feed him Bojangles chicken by the bucket full, which is actually donated by Bojangles. He shared other pictures with me of his family playing with the Wolf but I did not get his permision to share those. These I took and thought they were too cool not to share!

The other connected part is he had a good number of high end knives sitting around his home!

To cool to matter if he or she is yours... thanks for sharing this whitty!

That reminds me of the morning a dog ended up in my yard. I grabbed hold of her collar, tied her to my porch and called the police to see if anyone lost their dog. Success! The owner had just reported their lost dog a few hours prior.

So I gave the police permission to share my address with the owner, and I sat on my porch scratching behind her ears until the owner showed up. Sweet animal, she was content just hanging out on my patio furniture with me, though she was soaked in rain/dew and smelled faintly of skunk.

It turns out, she escaped his yard about 3 suburban miles away, and was a wolf hybrid. Half wolf, half Siberian Husky.

Had a Husky once, beautuful dog. Always wanted a wolf - that's so cool ^^^

Happy with my Golden

Dave, it does my heart good to see that Tink has adopted your mom. Best wishes to you all on your difficult journey, one that will be slightly less difficult due to Tink.

My one dog. His name is Bodacious. He was named after the bull because when I first adopted him he was quite a handful. In one visit to my folks house he ate my moms dentures and an entire sheet cake, before frosting thankfully. Now he's just a good old dog.

My best friend, Tessie. She follows me everywhere and is like having a 115 lb. shadow. She's the most loyal dog I've ever seen.

We had Andy's nephew bring his little pup by on Friday
Thor only has a bit of size advantage over Oscar the boxer

As many of you know, my wife and I lost our best friend Lucy (avatar) to cancer a year ago in June. We have had dogs through our entire 34 years of marriage, but my wife was too heartbroken to get another. She kept saying "no more, it's too painful." In the ensuing year we became grandparents again, so we now have a 14 y.o., a soon to be 2 y.o and a 6 month old grandson. A couple of months ago my wife started visiting rescue sites, but was not going to consider a dog like Lucy, who was a gladiator, because of the small children in our family. Last week she found Lucas.

He should be coming home sometime this week. We met him yesterday and he has a good energy for small children, and I think he is going to be just fine. An 8 month old Pit Bull mix.

Great look dog mcveymac

My wife is looking for a companion to ole Maximus. She is checking Atlanta boxer rescue all the time. We decided after supporting ABR for several years now we should actually take the next step.. Gotta find the right girl for my boy though!

Thanks guys, we are very excited about him. Sort of a sad back story, but he was rescued before any real damage was realized. He was initially fostered with a family with small children, and he did fine.

Thanks Will. It's been a bit of an emotional roller coaster with my wife, but she is really starting to get excited, yet she really misses Lucy.

This is my buddy right here. His name is Rubble and he is an AB (American BullDog)! Rub is 15 months old and is rotten as the day is long! He sure loves to chew on anything he can get those big death on! :) I'll be glad when he grows out of that lol

Got a call from the local rescue organization last night, and Lucas is ours. They will work out logistics of getting him from the foster family, might have him later today.
