Some guy, somewhere, raised an elk calf to harness and trotted him into the rural town with some regularity.
He should have had the animal neutered, for once puberty kicked in, the ride to town (their last together) went by way of the forest in the area rather than the road, with the cart or wagon suffering somewhat from its use as a chaperon carrier on the elk's first date.
Deer in the house? Only happens with shiny windows. Yet another reason to NOT wash windows.
