8670 with Boss heat treatment

Yes. Mr Brewer is definitely up there with the sharpest convex grinds I’ve tried ( ban tang and thanks are truly scary sharp ).

Crag the Brewer Crag the Brewer will hopefully chime in. The Thanks knives are definitely performers.

I like a variety of steels, probably Most of them.
I try to do a variety of my designs in a few.

That's right, This one was 8670 treated at Bos/Buck to 60 HRC.
*I also am occasionally lucky to have some treated at a higher (Artistic) level
If it were a true kitchen knife, aside from being much, much thinner, if have it treated to 64HRC. I'm pretty happy with that.

8670 is one of those great steels that are really good in Any role.
AEB-L/Nitro V are like that too......could be a Chopper, a dagger, a chef knife, Whatever.... And it would be great in all those roles.
Maybe Wolfram Special, 15N20, and 80crv2 could be like That too...?

I know people would bring up Other, more popular/trendy steels, but I'd argue.
