Gorgeous! Trouble finding crosscut or bocote?Making a test knife with crosscut Bocote. Nearly impossible to find this wood in the right size to make scales for anything but my small ultralight neckers. But I found it.

Here's the story behind my last acquisition of bocote. Kind of a fun lil story:Found an 86” slab at Black Forest wood company in Calgary. Didn’t want to spend $900 so they agreed to cut and ship me 36”. I still haven’t swept the saw dust from my initial processing of almost half the slab.
