Coincides with what I have heard as well, but Nathan might have a drawer full of them for all we know.AFAIK, there are 5 Daggers. 3 in the wild and 2 inside the compound. See post above.
That's my dagger, had it for yearsReally. A work in progress or just some old stuff you had laying around?
This particular thumb ramp seemed to have a bit more of a point on top so wanted to hear how it compared to the first FK or even HDFK. I've done quite a bit of reading here but haven't read everything, has either Nathan or Lorien said why that thumb ramp is even there? Thanks!
Hey thanks for this response. Along with the makers you're one of the current experts so I appreciate your response.About that thumb ramp... I’m usually not a fan of thumb ramps, but those in Nathan’s Knives are really nice. They’re rather an extension of the handle than something added to the blade. IMHO.
Compared to the FK1, the new thumb ramp is slightly taller, but also significantly moved forward. It’s really nice, and to place the thumb in tip of the peak you need to hold it in a very odd position I think. Also if you place your index fingnger in the spine for control, it doesn’t interfere either.
One things that might make it look pointier is that it also have more of a “swoop” than the other CPK knives I have. (Not counting the dagger...)
