Folksy Introduction

Welcome Kelly!

Hey to you too Grateful and Bigal2me.

A fellow flatlander.

I had no doubt that you all would make my wife feel welcome here and you sure have. Thanks to everybody. It is nice that Kelly likes pocket knives too, gives us something else to talk about.
I have slowly been trying to bring her into the fold and all my hard work and sacrafice finally paid off.:D
Hello thawk, what part of Kansas are you in?
JIM

Howdy and welcome to our hangout where the old hardwood floors are a little creaky, the Warm Morning stove is glowing red, the smell of pipe tobacco is in the air and the tales of folksy knives flow like honey off a dippin stick.

...and may the folksy be with you, OFCOURSE!

btw...it's good to have girls around to buffer some of the man smell.:D:thumbup:

Glad to have you here with us.
(folksy Bastid)

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I may be a little nutty:p to like pocket knives so much, but at least I'm in good company.
---Kelly

It is always a pleasure to welcome a female into the group. I hope you enjoy the forum as well as your new hobby(?).

P.S. What is the 3rd knife from the top, it sure is a beauty.

... I am anxiously checking the mailbox daily waiting for an old Merrimac Cutlery blue penknife to arrive. ...
Oooh, you do have it bad. :D Waiting for packages to arrive is sometimes the best part. Well, up to the point of actually getting it...

Welcome!

That's the one that did me in. That is the sweet little Schrade penknife from Sunnyd's give-away. Isn't it a honey? I love the fluted bolsters, the way all the brass complements the honey tones in the wood...I just love it! Here's a close-up.
