The total number of knives ordered was.......474!!!!!!!So, what was the magic number ordered? It seemed like many folks were ordering two. Hopefully, the order did Blade Forums proud.

Many thanks to Skblades!![]()
You find me the market and I'll make it all happen.I have been hoping Buck would get back to flat grind slipjoint pocket knives. Maybe this is the start of something big.

Good one I used to love watching that skit.
Absolutely right!
Another thing, I think the 17 run was unrestricted, some people buying multiples. So this year's figure is actually very impressive given there were limitations (rightly..) on the numbers an individual can buy-2 max.
Whatever, biggest all stainless runBiggest non GEC run
Biggest Antler run too
Agreed Will this was a great success. In all honesty I learned a good lesson in contempt prior to investigation. When I first heard it would be Buck and not GEC Makeing the Forum knife I was shocked and I'll admit a bit disappointed. However like so often happens in life not getting my way turned out to be a great teachable moment. Obviously I don't even have this year's knife in hand but because of this whole experience I've found a new interest in Buck Knives. In large part due to the amazing job done by SK Blades.![]()

I believe the 2017 micarta 15 had a limit of two per buyer, as well.
