This last image shows a most elegant looking knife. The white part looks even with the bolsters, while the dark part swells majestically. This promises to be an amazing Buck. I appreciate the effort Buck and @skblades has expended to get this right. Thank you.

Yes I quite agree. I think Right Honourable or Dearly Beloved swelling is suffice.

Don't like to brag about my incredible powers of foresight and perception...
But being the greedy little slob that I am...
I did order two.
Just in case one turned up with ugly Elk.
I've got all forum knives since 2010 and doubled up on 2 so far....never saw one that I didn't like to be honest.
But I see no sense in bucking? the trend?.
( smug chortle).
Something tells me these will be most pleasing ....oooh yeah.
BUT RIGHT NOW!
Eyes on the prize everyone.
Brandish those torches and rattle the gates.
We want the Oompa Loompas at the Buck Knife Factory to keep the pedal to the metal.

THAT is a very functional design!! Handsome knife! That would make a great whittler. Thanks SK for the updates in the last few days. I'm looking forward to this knife. We'll have to see if I every use it..... who knows? For me there is a fairly big pile of unused slip joints.

I almost did that the day I ordered the forum knife. I'm holding back but barely. Luckily I have a few other cattle knives to hold me over. They sell them at the local w-mart here.

I wonder how this looks with the blades closed looking down on the spine. Curious as to the gaps (since the sheepsfoot doesn’t fill the whole blade well) being left since it’s a double spring knife vs a single spring.
