Just Received this, Made by Saku Honkilahti in Finland. Extremely fine craftsmanship.

    80crv2 steel, hand forged.
    85mm blade, 110mm handle
Stacked birch bark handle with "Canadian Inlay" Red-White-Red"

Only had it out today for a quick trial run, couldn't be happier. My first experience with a traditional puukko.

It's not a big deal, Im just not a fan of GB axes.
I shouldn't have even mentioned it, because it's not like the nice knife doesn't hog the picture anyways.

I got a "Magnum" puukko from Saku, with a Silver Steel blade 5 1/4 inches long and a 4 3/4-inch long curly birch handle. I was worried as he had to stop making knives for a while due to an operation on his arm, but he came back better than ever. The puukko and sheath are both very well made. John
