A very generous young man on the porch who shall remain anonymous for now (he knows who I'm talking about ) sent me a package.
He told me he was gifting me a GEC 85 Harness Jack with Stag covers, because it is a bit thicker than he normally carries.
Imagine my shock when I opened the package to find not only the GEC 85 Harness Jack, but also a GEC 61 Half Congress, a Grohmann #R350S 2 blade jack knife, and a Case TB61028W DAM Meditaranian Blue Tear Drop Jack with a Damascus blade!
I never expected to see, let alone actually own a GEC. Now I have two.
I must say, despite everything I've read about GEC here on the forums, they are much better than I could have ever anticipated.
The pulls are a reasonable "5" to "6" too. Not "8" and above nail busters.
I must say, the Grohmann and this particular Case, are just as impressive.
Will I carry and use them?
To paraphrase a former child star and hero of the silver screen "westerns":
"You betchya, Red Rider!"
Thank you again, my friend.
