Glennbad is a baaaad man

ANY job that Glenn does seems to always come out just darned perfect! I know mine have that's for sure and from what I have seen on this Thread and more- haven't seen one that I dam not blown away with!
That Stag does that very cool Hartshead justice! That was a bold move and it worked out nicely! 😍 😍

Thanks Duncan

Here's a recently finished large Case dogleg. The original covers were some kind of yellow jigged bone or something. The customer requested stag (Yay!). I had this dyed stag, not sure who did the dye job on it, but I love the color. I chose this hounds tooth shield, and removed the bottom bolsters to make it a barehead. The customer also wanted some type of etch or marking signifying it as Glennbad knife. I have a GT stamp that I had made up some time back for tangs, so we used that.

Here's the finished product...

Wonderful knife (now)!!! Early in the last century, Empire did "Blackened Stag" handles, to good effect!! These handles remind me of those gorgeous knives!! Nice Job, Glenn!!

This arrived yesterday and I'm a dog with two tails over it . Glenn put some really fine Stag slabs on this German Bulldog, also cut nice and thin. I asked him to put an external pivot on it like many French knives have and it came out beautifully: functional & aesthetic  This is like a Saddlehorn or small Clasp knife with stamped blade and decent large Clip, also a low or covered joint makes it easy inside the pocket. W&T excellent as was the original.

My picture show nothing of its character really but my excitement forced me to get something up. Thank you Glenn for your work, having that level of skill is enviable and impressive.

That is some beautiful stag. Well done Glenn.

I had Glenn cleanup the blades on this old Case 5235 1/2. Thank you Sir for a great job.

I finished this one up a bit ago. I had this CW Solingen knife. The knife had black plastic handles, and everything was fairly rusty. I thought it was cool nevertheless. So I put some decent stag on it and got it working well again, she's ready to go to work again...

I've seen that pattern before!! A very useful knife for the farm!! A saw for a quick cut, and a sacking needle to close up a bag, and a useful blade!!
Wonderful restoration, Glenn!!!👍

Glenn! EVERYTHING you have done on this knife is outstanding! I love this work, that stamp is awesome, I wish there was a way- as in possibly laser etc that you could mark the knives you enhance- I do mean the word enhance, every knife you have done for me is just magic and I would be happy with your mark on there.
Obviously the money comes into it, but having that very cool stamp, as well as a Laser that could be used on a unstamped tang?
Have you considered using that GT stamp on the liners when you do such work Glenn - using Tom Krein as an example where he marks every knife.

This is awesome work! Thank you for sharing , I always sit up a little when I see a new addition to this Thread.

Gorgeous Work - Awesome Stag, Steve what was the handle material on this one when new my friend?
