That’s an awesome blade, looks a lot like Hinderers XM-24 Bowie blade. I really should stop looking for excuses to buy more knives lol ….but I do love me a Bowie :-D
Thanks! It's a Maxace Goliath in S90V & green canvas micarta scales. Great knife.
Attached are picts. of the other four Maxace knives I own.
Another Goliath Bowie in S90V with a black cerakoted blade and black, marbled CF scales.
A Goliath with a full flat grind M390 blade and gold & black, marbled CF scales.
Two ROCKs: Both with M390 blades; 1 with black, marbled CF scales the other with green canvas micarta scales.
All five are great knives, in my opinion.

The new Midgards Messer Nerthus with the Thunrar. It's actually even thicker than the Thunrar but not as big. The weight is also lighter in the hand despite the thicker build.

*Picture adjusted to actual scale for those that like to get their own or are just curious*

Here's a new one, something I'd wanted for a long time and finally picked up a couple weeks ago--a satin-bladed AFCK in M390 with an AXIS lock, the 806-1101.

I have one of these in my collection. I handled it for the first time in years a few weeks ago. Such a great knife, but so limited in number, that I could never get myself to edc it. In those days, after I got it, for a big knife edc, I carried my Military or my 710.

One of my favorite almost forgotten knives.

I know where you're at with not wanting to mark up a special knife. I've had my 800 AFCK satin, plain edge for a while and use it, but always wanted an 806 for tip-up and the AXIS lock. I finally got a plain edge D2 one LNIB with a black blade, but didn't want to mark it up (hate scuffed coated blades) and really never carried it while keeping an eye out for a satin.

I paid a substantial premium for this one, but look at it like my Shiro Russian Doctor Death and some others, an expensive, limited edition that's just too great a knife not to carry. I won't use it hard or in working situations, but will carry it in a walkin' around, EDC capacity. I do have a TSEK that's a work user.

Re some other knives you mentioned, I have multiple Millies and 710's, along with other models, and have both work users and some I EDC, but keep nicer, of each. Here's the -1101 just out for a photo op on a day when I carried my work user 710 while splitting wood. I've got another like new stock D2 710 that's kind of a drawer queen and another in M390 with custom wood scales for lighter EDC use, so I'm fortunate to have multiples of favorites that fill different roles in my accumulation.
