Picture two SYKCO 1311 blades with a 3/16" thickness pressed together....Thats pretty much sums up the spine shot, but on an 8" blade. It's a bruiser for sure

I have XXL hands. I had a basic 11 with the smaller original basic handle (before they milled the handle molds out larger, and got rid of the side serrations). These basic handles are a bit bigger than the originals were. I had no issues with the size of that handle. Loved it.

As to the thickness. My .32 fat Ash was plenty useful in that thickness for normal knofe tasks.

Hmmm. Haven't bit on a new blade in a long while.

What would be cool is to polish the spine of the coated blades. It would really set it apart. But I think I'm going LE just b'cuz.
 
I'm tapped out with orders I've already placed but this one is very tempting. That long clip profile looks pretty pointy as is so would there be any point in adding the penetrator tip to it? Just dreaming here.
 
Well my uneducated guess is that with the weight alone on this monster it would brute force its way though anything in its way and ask for more.
 
Well if I were to pick one, I think I'd order the BIG DC finish and the lowered drop point, perhaps with penetrator tip. It does remind me of the ASH blade profile.
 
How many people going for the drop point are you a fbm or fsh profile fan?

I like the look of the standard clip but a drop point plus penetrator seems like a wicked combo
 
Think I might have to drop a park ranger... $350 for a thin 4" or $350 for a ridiculously thick giant chunk of 8" infi.... hrm...

I am just trying to imagine how lively this blade is going to feel in hand. (And what coating to go with the tan handle)
