Wow, thank you all so much for your support! Some great ideas here, I'll check for pawn shops and put up flyers with a reward, Craigslist ad, . There was a police report filed at the time of the incident. I am not aware of any blade carry restrictions out here. If they exist, no one knows about them... Emotionally I really would like to assemble a posse and go on stakeout and "fix the problem" but rationally $2k isn't worth myself or my friends going to jail or being wounded. Still I don't know whether reason or passion will prevail...It wouldn't really be hard; there are isolated spots that get hit regularly... Naw, just fantasies, cannot, I know, I know... I got more of the story to share soon, been impossibly busy the past week, gotta sleep now.
