WOW. Based on the pattern of machining alone, I think that's the coolest Madd Maxx handle I've ever seen. (And that doesn't even take into account the fact that it's MokuTi!)

Reminds me of some kind of futuristic exo-skeleton type armor that I'd picture future soldiers to wear.

Damn. That is some mean machining. I'm getting the heebie-jeebies just looking at photos.

Is there a name for this kind of texturing, Hark?

No name for the texturing as of yet as far as I can tell. But, I did ask the man. Will let you know once I get a reply.

Holy crap!!!

Remember a few months back when I awarded the title of "Greatest Gunhammer Ever" to the Stellite 6K san mai damascus/MokuTi/LSCF/etc. Gunhammer? Well, I think we have a new champion.

VERY cool. I get the feeling neuron likes the LSCF... I'm loving that M390 San Mai.
Haha, LSCF is indeed my favorite inlay material, but in the case of this knife, it's probably the least remarkable feature/material on it! I'm totally with you on the M390 San Mai -- that's my favorite thing about this knife and probably the coolest blade material I've ever seen.

TBH, I probably would have chosen something blueish-purple, to accentuate the colors in the handle. As is, the black of the LSCF kinda looks off to me. It's a gorgeous knife, but I still prefer the damascus one I posted a while back that's on the HTM website. When you get those Ti-handles, there's just so much subtle patterning that you can do with the colors.
