So true , some of the best Benchmade models are discontinued.A video I made for you then
No idea on screw size, sure BM can get you what you will need. But it could also be that they are making room for even better models.
I did notice that my new knife needs some pocket clip screws...
Does it use a standard size and length screw; or am I in trouble?
I have a bunch of 550/555 Benchmades, as well as many Para 2 & Para 3s. I agree that the Benchmades handle easier than my Paras. I think it's the handle ergonomics that make the difference for me. At 73 YO, my hands are dull and arthritic. BM's slightly rounded handles on the Grip series are more comfortable and usable for me than Spyderco's flat-sided Para handles. I can get a more secure grip on the BM handles. That's my point: this one seems to work better than any of my Spydercos do.
I am wondering if it is just how the knife fits my hand; or if Benchmade's ergonomics make them work better for everyone??
Good to hear man! It's a great blade, lucky you found one.So this is turning out to be a pretty cool little knife. I found (made!) Some clip screws, and mounted the clip on the "dark" side. The action is sweet; it opens and closes easily, and there's no wobble in the blade.
This thing is gonna log some serious time in my pocket!
