A year later, I have decided I don’t like the native salt and a CF Bugout is my gentleman knife. Otherwise, my pics have held up.Small Folder, <= 3 inches. Spyderco Native Salt
Large Folder, 3.5 inches or more BM Contego
Fidget knife, any size Microtech Scarab
EDC knife, any size Hogue Ritter
Gentleman knife CRK Large Inkosi
Box slicer (folder or fixed, no utility knives) GB2
Interesting thread! I’ll play. In order:I see there's a bunch of "if you could have only one knife..." post, but how about if you could have only 6 knives? Two rules: 1) the knives have to be in production or have periodic runs. b) $300 or less for each.

I want to change my answer, because it's been over a year.Small folder - Dec '20 BOTM. Not a production item, but I have one. (It was this, or my DLT exclusive...I chose the CPM154 over S35VN; but I'd be just as happy either way)
Large folder - Reate K2. Over $300 new; but it's pretty much owned my rfp for the last couple years.
Fidget knife - no. *I'll pick another knife of my choice; something useful. (Probably Busse BB13 or Kabar Becker BK20. Maybe Busse Urban Grudge LE, because I'm keeping it anyway)
EDC knife - since you've neglected fixed blades as a category, I'll put mine here. Not a production item, and don't know if the maker's current price would be under $300
Gentleman's knife - GEC 62 half whittler in birdseye maple. I think it is one of one...maybe they'll make another someday; but I hope not
Box slicer - utility knife
I know I didn't follow your "rules"; but I chose from what I have...
(You're not the boss of me)
