Years back McDonald's was accused of false advertizing with regard to their claim of 'all beef' hamburger patties. Sure they were shown to be laden with soybeans and sawdust but the company didn't lose the court case because they unequivocally proved that they purchased their patties from a company called 'All Beef'. Hence 'all beef' patties was not a lie!

I had also heard that urban legend before. However this tidbit from the Snopes was a little surprising, “McDonald’s hamburger patties in the U.S. are made with 100% USDA-inspected beef. They are cooked and prepared with salt, pepper and nothing else; no preservatives, no fillers.”

There was an interesting episode of Revisionist History about how good their fries used to be, “McDonalds Broke My Heart.”

I believe McDonalds french fries are not fried in animal fat in the UK. Which makes them vegan and a vegan diet is a healthy diet, right?:confused:
