Jérome did not fail to impress  Did he sell them all? I like the pearl and the stingray handled ones but I really love the white bone with the red liner and stainless belt! Just awesome. There're some others too... but of course! Thank you for sharing Â.

Beautiful and more. That's not your every day multitool - with 2 blades, an engraved awl and cork screw, the most subtle of Damascus and a mesmerizing piece of mammoth and exquisite craftsmanship - it is certainly prize worthy. A tour de force by Jérôme. Finesse is the word - thank you Will and thank you Jean-Marc for showing this too us. Congratulations to Jérôme.

I do not pretend to be a hotshot specialist of French regional knives. But when I saw the submission with the number "11" in the showcase at La Monnerie-Le Montel, last Saturday, I knew that it had to be the winning knife. There were some very fine knives in the contest but none could hold up with Jérôme's "4 pièces"! It is not only the fine artwork decorating the knife, specially so the work on the corkscrew, but also the highest degree of technicality put into the work that makes this knife so unique. Indeed the interior mechanism, necessary to make a four blade folder, is one of the highest challenges for a knife maker, there are vey few who live up to it. IMHO Jérôme has an "MOF" coming, it is only a question of time. It won't be long and Jérôme will be on par with the Beillonets, Munoz, Lamic and all the others in the pantheon of French knife making. My only regret was that the knife was already spoken for, but Jérôme Latreille will be making more and hopefully one of these will be part of my collection soon.
