well, I did pretty much what vik did, took down the horn in the middle of the handle on the 'tang with the scales on, then some edge sanding and good to go. I also etched the Ka-Bar logo and stripped the blade, leaving the coat under the scales. The Zomstro had some handle butchering and I might do the scales today, pics later
