Knife Squeamish (and what do you use instead)

People into wine have a saying "He who dies with the most wine... loses."

I think that philosophy applies here as well. Most material things cannot be fully enjoyed without using them for the things they were designed to do.
A car with great handling that was never driven

An accurate gun that was never fired

Great wine that was never drunk

A well made knife that never cut

Most of the one of's I have had made or bought outright will stay collectors with my nephew in mind.

He'll remember me long after I'm gone. I've already had a custom of my design made for him and he uses it which was the intent.

He'll get the rest after it's all over for me. I like the fact I'm leaving a legacy to someone.

They have value beyond their design parameters to me.

I intend to use every blade I buy and I do for the most part...but I do have several knives that have become safe queens for some reason or another.
But I do agree with the comment of using the high end knives....ya don't want to be buried with a shiny knife do ya.

YES!!!! What else would match my halo as well!!!!
And if I don't get a halo, I'm pretty sure all those flames down south aren't for barbequeing or forging knives :p
