Hello, great work. I have a question about CAD modelling. I'm trying to model Inkosi scale but so far I can't get the measurements right so it aligns properly, do you have any tips on how to do it?

if you feel like my question doest belong in this thread, I'm sorry and I will ask admins to delete it.

 
My method is a multistep process...

I disassemble the knife. Take the component you want to model and scan it. The flatbed scanner found in the printer/scanner/copiers works well enough. Take the scan and import it into your CAD application for tracing. Some CAD applications have auto tracing capabilities but I find it more accurate to hand trace the critical landmarks such as hardware holes, pivot hole, and profile. Export the traced file and using a CAM application create the necessary toolpaths. Test machine and make any adjustments to the CAD model as required until you achieve the precision needed.

Catching up here after a long absence! Will this accommodate a small Insingo bladed Inkosi?

I never machined scales for any CRK knives.

IF you meant BACK SPACERS and not SCALES... then I have ONE Large Inkosi cogged carbon fiber back spacer and ONE Large Inkosi charcoal gray G10 smooth back spacer left.

One caveat though... I never was able to do a clearance fitment check for the tanto blade so I have no idea is there might be a closed blade contact issue.

I would also like a large inkosi backspacer in cf. I posted earlier. Not sure if you saw my comment. Kind of new to BF so I do not know how to message you directly.

Are these still available?! How can I get a carbon fiber back spacer like this for my small inkosi?
 
I'm no longer machining back spacers for CRK knives. The interest just wasn't there to continue to include them as a product line.
