It’s been suggested that I may have grooved the stitch path too deep. I had been hand grooving both sides to recess the thread. I’m finishing another belt loop attachment today and will only groove one side and moved the stitching down so as to allow more give before break. Asking because I'm trying to make some of my own sheaths, but I'm not very far into it. I move super slow.
