Just received this awesome grizzly cut #72 from @johnny twoshoes as a gift! Man I seriously have fallen in love with the #72 and #73. I have a hard time carrying anything smaller these days. Its an awesome blade to carry with a smaller companion blade. This model is the reason why I sold off all my modern blade styles. The #72 is a great slicer and also good on processing game. I can't wait to put this #72 to the test!
Here's a #83 after 2 1/2 years.
It has got a new peened pivotpin in order to cope with side to side bladeplay.
No way it will get loose again under normal use!
My first GEC but soon to be moved down the line, really like the Beaver Pond Bone and the feel/size of this #23. Im hoping to pickup a Madison Barlow to replace it one day and would love to find another pattern in the pond bone.
Moto, they only used the Pond bone (or Beaver Pond bone) in 2007 on three knives.
Your Pioneer, the #73 Scout, and this #53 Cuban (2nd from the top, only 13 made).

Thanks, Moto. I've never seen a #73 in Beaver Pond, but I suspect they are two-bladers, with drop point and spey. I believe they have only used the single spey blade on Pioneers.
