Lets talk GEC!

No - Not strong enough!!
I'd say if it was treated the same as their Tube Popper, then it might work just fine for smaller nails, though they should have enormous heads to use that fork on them.

Really, those Tube Poppers are amazing tools. I keep one around in the house all the time. It does prying, screw driving (pretty hard and no any bending caused!), and of course tube popping and blades opening. The latter it does brilliantly, much better than GEC's a dedicated Blade Key, for BKs are uniform stamped steel bars, and TPops have slanted and rounded tip which goes into nail nicks and long pulls just perfectly.

I got a little knife math/logic for y’all.

Do I currently golf? No.

Should I then buy a GEC golf knife? Probably not.

Is there a chance I will take up golf when I retire? Yes.

Will the GEC golf knife cost more in 20+ years than it does now? Probably yes.

Therefore, buy the GEC golf knife now!

Are golfers going to carry a bulky knife in their pocket and have to open/close the tool every time they have to repair a divot? I can see your buddies giving you the stare as you fidget with your knife on the green. I guess you can pop open a few bruski’s for them 😁

There will be far more embarrassing things I will do while golfing than fiddle with a golf knife, so I just plan to roll with it. I’ll be too old to care.

Green divots are always fun to repair. It means I actually hit the green! 🤣
