I've only been in the game long enough to see ONE SINGLE true stockman release by GEC, the 91 forum knife. If this is any indication of a calf roper, I will be trying my damnedest to get one in pocket!

The 82 Dixie stockman is a fine knife

I wonder why there was a long run of 15 spears which I appreciate because it allowed me to get one but I can't remember a15 clip being done for at least 7 years but not sure because the gec web page leaves out alot of the 15 patterns,alot of people enjoy the frame and have read countless posts about the 15 clip being there favorite,I have a 2 blade 15 clip but it is marked as a 39,so why so many years since a 15 clip and igf they do make it make a few 1000 so we can all get one and then they can wait 6 years to make another

Unfortunately it appears I was sadly mistaken . I too was hoping for a run of clip points.

I could use one of those in my life Red Micarta, very effective! The Wood ones are superb but Wood tends to darken quickly and you lose grain, Bone offering looks very fine too, but Micarta is more 'drop proof'

can always refresh that wood a little maybe? idk, i took out a new cocobolo 15 next to my modded user clip which has darkened quite a bit

I recall the 72 Cody Scouts had a bit of up and down play in the lock, but it doesn't look like the 42 has been made since 2012. Does anyone know if the 42 had this same up and down play? Fingers crossed that it's been dialed in a bit.

These 2025 15’s turned out remarkable. Great action, flush everywhere, all steel. At $94-$104 af BHQ, KSF, DLT, I ended up picking up a few. Will be great for gifts or recovers! Excellent run and excellent price point.

the 88 is an interesting pattern with 2 useful blades but for me it is more a unique pattern than one that's comfortable to hold so not that practical in my books.

They have to lower the lambsfoot on the 88 and I'm in,or make another 82 and switch the spey blade for a punch
