I just wanted to start this thread and thank a wonderful person and forum member Markesharp, aka brother Mark:thumbup:
Back when Mark conceived the Fish Barlow, I like many others were wowed and I asked to PLEASE be put on the list. I understand many others have reached out to Mark as well.
This has perfect pull, a deep long pull, solid and centered blade, fabulous Fish logo for the bolsters and this one is clad in gorgeous pre ban Elephant Ivory Its patterned off a NYKnife pattern (Mark please weigh in if I mis-speak my friend) similar to GEC's #15 pattern. Steel bolsters, liners and pins:thumbup:
I wont capture in pictures how nice the knife is. The thickness of the Ivory covers are PERFECT:thumbup: hand filling but not to thick.
Mark also showed me pictures of Stag as another option and honestly Mark has some proprietary method to acheive a fabulous vintage looking Stag.
Enough of my rambling so pictures pictures pictures and again THANK YOU Mark!!!
I'm looking forward as more of Mark's knives find their way to this thread
