A fine catch!! I guess I am in the minority in appreciating a nice Spey blade, but this knife has much more than a wonderful blade going for it!!
All it needs is a little pocket wear!!
Thanks Mark!! It's absolutely first class!!

Charlie it's so wonderful to hear (and see) that dreams do still come true. ;)
Congrats on getting such a fine Fishbone Barlow!!! Markesharp does good work and that one looks extra cool with a spey blade. I think you're right... it'll only improve with a little pocket wear. Again, congratulations !!!

So, while I was sleeping off my long drive back from the Oregon Knife Show, my PO Box started to smell like Coelacanth!!
Waking up from my nap, I headed back south over the line, and Lo and Behold!!!

Charlie, I apologize for taking so long to get that knife to you!
Thank you for all you have done for us here on Blade Forums as well as traditional knife collectors everywhere.

Thank you all for the kind words, that means a lot to me.

No apologies necessary, Mark!! No knife before its time!!:)
I am honored, Sir!!

P.S, I must have tossed the box; please send me/message me your mailing address!!

I've wanted one of these since I first saw them here. I really like the unique styling. Hope to get a Barlow or fixed blade or something from Markesharp Markesharp some day! Keep posting pictures guys!

I was wondering if Mark was still making knives, I couldnt find any post saying he was quiting but I also havent seen many pictures of his work recently and was wondering why??
Uncanny timing in regards to your question. Mark is currently back on the form and back cranking out knives in his shop:thumbsup: I've even seen some "In Progress" pic's:cool:

Wow, that's awsome! I was looking into getting a new barlow when I remembered seeing a picture of one of his fishbone barlows a couple of years ago and describing the stamp on the bolster led me here. Do you know if his books are open?

I'll shoot Mark a text and see if he'll stop in and give us an update:thumbsup:
