Photos Metal Monday - Post Your Metal TRADITIONAL Pics

My rotation schedule has gone Heavy Metal on me this week! 😲
It assigned me
a Marbles demo knife:

a Mercator Black Cat:

and a naked Imperial Diamond Edge skinny jack (thanks, Mark):

Then, like Will Power Will Power , I'm carrying some German copper:

Finally, one of my Quotidian Quartet is my Swiss Army Solo "retirement Knife" I carry EVERY day (even though I rarely post those 4 true EDCs I carry):

That Imperial is just cool. I’ve never seen anything like that before.

Thanks. :)
I have several old knives that originally had metal handles covered with some kind of plastic/celluloid "sheet", but by the time I got them, the sheet had been peeled off for whatever reason. If you look carefully at the middle top of the front side of the Imperial I posted last week, you can see a little shred of what's left of some kind of white material still tucked between handle and liner, along the front of the pen blade.

My rotation schedule assigned me ZERO all-metal knives this week, but I'm still carrying the copper Böker Plus Atlas I got quite recently and, as always, my "retirement" Vic Solo:

This Imperial is a replacement for the one just like it I carried as a teen. It was originally covered with a thin sheet of textured black plastic:

You all can laugh at me, but when I see these "naked" Imperials, I'm impressed with the "level of detail" as indicated by the fake pins built into the tab-fastened shell handles. With the original plastic sheet covers in place, those "pins" look quite real to me!

To be honest, despite carrying it for years, it never occurred to me that the handles were fake until the plastic came off, and I went “Ohhhh…” 🤣.

I guess it goes to show how pocket knives were just a day to day object, completely taken for granted…

🤓 I'm glad I'm not the only one to accept those fake pins as "the real deal".

As was the case 2 weeks ago, my rotation schedule didn't assign me any all-metal knives this week, but I'm still carrying the Böker Plus copper Atlas and, as always, my retirement Alox Solo:

This week I'm carrying 2 all-metal knives among the knives assigned by my weekly rotation schedule.
Victorinox smooth red Alox Secretary (thanks, Ken):

A serpentine jack from Imperial that has "gone naked". I call it the Silver Bullet (thanks, Dave).
