Lookin' good, Dan!
Happy Micarta Monday, y'all!
Sitting next to the classic Buck Skinner is a Ray Cover Skinner in green micarta, a nicely balanced knife, very well made too
A great Micarta pair. Farm & Field 47 and a Skookum Bushtool made by Rod Garcia.
@dantzk8 Yes, interesting pairing. I was interested in those Skookums a few years ago but the wait list was long.
Shown before But then, it's been Monday before GEC 56 Dogleg Spear
I ordered it in 2008, a first one has been shipped to me but has been "lost" in the post office where Mister Garcia shipped it. Very kindly he made me a second one i received in 2011. However i have to say it was worth the long wait and the concern. Made of CPM 3V, built like a tank with a surprisingly great cutting ability.
I like the looks of the bail on that one,I'm going to have to give making one for mine a try
An El Toro:
Pictures like that are convincing me about this pattern
GEC #50 Bowie in 440C and Natural Jigged Micarta
I advise having at least 1 lightweight in your arsenal.
