Westinghouse green canvas micarta circa 1961 . This material ( leftover & repurposed ) was used on the Phantom F4 Jet ,possibly for electronics / circuit boards .

There was a guy, Steve iirc, who would do SFO's with Buck and then sell them. He operated as Silver Knight (SK) Blades. This is one of his called the "Goodfella". A 501 with 154cm blade and burlap micarta barehead handle. Buck quit doing the SFO's and SK closed shop. They did some cool stuff, and it was all very reasonably priced. The good old days
