Looks like micarta to me."1945 THOS. BLAZE" is the mark on this fixed blade.

The blade measures 7 inches, 11 3/4 overall. I know nothing of its history except that it was NOT sold to me as something special. By that I mean I don't think the date was scratched on the knife to fool an unwary buyer. Is it a Theater Knife, made by a member of our armed forces in the "theater of war"? I doubt I'll ever know. But I do believe that the handle is Micarta or something like it. What do you all think? Thanks for watching! T-A
Considering its rough beginning....I love it when a plan comes together View attachment 1385999Ok ok I know everyone is tired of me posting pics of this knife today but I just can’t help myself, this thing is awesome!View attachment 1385996
Two Bull Nose in OD Green Micarta. The top one used and carried quite a bit. The covers have turned black from the oils and sweat in my hands while the bottom has never been carried or used. I'd sand the top one down to return it to it's former self but it would be a futile exercise as it will only turn black again.
