  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My First Becker: BK10 Crewman

Congrats and welcome. I love the Crewman. In many ways, it's a scaled-down BK2, and I find it more useful because of the thinner blade.

I like the BK10, but minus the thumb ramp and finger guard shortened a little. I believe another beckerhead did that very thing and looked so much better IMHO

Welcome to the Becker forum and Bladeforums!!!

Grind that thumbramp after you strip it.

Moose(marginally)

I sandblasted the grivory and they resulted in a pretty nice texture. Keeping the Micarta on this knife, but I will probably sandblast the grivory in the future to save some money.

Dang it, I really am hooked. Wanting a 9 and an 11 as soon as possible.

Hey, that was a really good idea, sandblasting those scales. Wish I'd thought of it ;). Actually, I mostly wish I had access to a cabinet for doing such things myself.

Glad it worked out. Now.....pics, or it didn't happen!
