My Spyderco Delica 4 FFG

20160908_193340_zpsrzktvlck.jpg

Scales arrived today. Didn't expect to like them this much to be honest, just wanted a change, but I'm in love!

I really, really like the Delica and VG10. I had a stainless handled one for four years, but lost it this summer at Sand Hollow in southern Utah while camping with my son's scout unit.

I picked up a Sage 2 for a really good deal a couple of months ago. Man, that is such a great knife! I'll probably get another Delica sooner or later - count on it, if jazzz's Wharncliffe makes it into production, even as a sprint - but I'm loving the Sage 2. Got a used Dragonfly in ZDP189 for cheap to try out the pattern and the steel. Everyone in my family wants one now! At least, I know what to get them for Christmas!

Been rotating between my Military, PM2, and Delica for the past few weeks. I really enjoy both the PM2 and the Millie, especially flicking them! Yet every time I pick up the Delica to cut something I think to myself, "This just feels right."

I think I read someone else here saying they used only Delicas...harronek maybe? I'm thinking about making that transition myself. As much as I like other Spydercos, they just don't seem to work as well as the Delica when cutting stuff. It feels like an extension of my hand.

My thoughts exactly. . . The Delica just simply "feels" right. I have cycled through a literal GAGGLE of other knives of all sizes, types, locks, and price ranges and have literally not found anything that scratches the itch quite like a Delica.

I see you have a sebenza in your sig. You like it better than that knife?

Haven't carried this for ages , so its clipped IWB today .
The beauty of the Delica is that there are so many options to keep you intrigued .

Call Spyderco Factory Store, they are not very expensive.

Only the scale and clip screws are available, the pivot screw is only via warrantee dept.
