SYKCo WD5 and custom pants from our own VJT.

My modded kitchen user WD5 in the process of getting some satin flats applied by hand. I used the plastic tent peg as a sanding block & it works fine. I trimmed the finger guard quillion level with the bottom of the ricasso so the edge heel can contact a cutting board and thinned the crap out of the shoulder. Thinny-skinny geometry & toothy edges are my recipe for kitchen cutlery.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that one... One of my most used and definitely my most carried knives. I'm going to redo the handle in Ironwood. You won't believe what I did to make those pins functional...
