Official Buck Picture Thread

Been more than a year since my last Buck group photo. Not much has changed other than more coloration on the brass and copper. Can't believe I missed this thread and haven't posted in here.

Buck stuff so far - 192, 112, 503, 055, and 532. Have an order in with the Custom shop for a 055 and 119. Probably June before they arrive.

Just sent an email to Buck Customer Support this evening, asking for them to produce a leather pocket slip.
The one I made from an old Buck Belt Sheath is pictured. It fits all the Buck knives shown ... and more.
All I did was remove the hardware from the belt sheath and cut down the leather cover flap.
LOVE this PERFECT pocket slip ... the holes, not so much.
Seems like Buck could very easily modify their belt sheaths into pocket slips.

EDIT: Shown how the Buck leather pocket slip might look without the holes. Picture I had on hand ... so sorry about the S&M, which also fits the slip perfectly

I received this Buck 412 in 1983 when I graduated from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. I used it hard for two years or so. I remember doing something stupid and my Dad took a few things away as punishment, and one of the things was this knife. What he didn't know was that I had already acquired a Buck 110 so I forgot about this knife. So did he. It sat in his drawer for 40 years. When I saw him yesterday, he handed me this knife and told me that I am now "ungrounded" and can have it back. :)Buck 412

Very nice.
Glad you eventually got it back. 👍

Awesome story to go along with it.

That 119 is very handsome. Ironwood. brass and a chipped flint blade, great combo!

Thanks - I was hoping it would look as nice as I imagined.

I know the chip flint isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's going to be a nice mostly display piece.

The pics don't do justice to the ironwood on the 119, it's gorgeous IMHO.

Other than my ordering faux pas (I somehow missed changing the blade to drop point on the 55s), I'm extremely happy with the knives.

Would will order again.
