Ah schweet! Glad you got some use for em. How do they feel? Congrats on the edc3 btw.

I like them very much!
They have a gummy feel to them.
I noticed machining marks that appear to run diagonal to the burlap strands. I only sanded them enough to remove the fuzz of the burlap. I was trying to leave them grippy.

Hey MJ, nice job on the Evergreen Shadetree scales they look great on the EDC3. I’m also a big fan of the OD micarta.

I thought people might question the color on the OD green Micarta. It looks so brown when next to the green Shadetree.

Just shows you use it and it has oxidized a bit.




Starts as a crystalline white solid oxidizes to a brownish color... I would show you the after math but this shit stinks !

Unbuffed green but turning brown. It hasn’t been used for anything yet. Just age and minor handling. Great micarta for a work blade. Grip matters on sharp knives

ETA: not really turning brown, as much as simply darkening. Looks good, though!
