i offer professional knife sharpening and i do regrinds (i'm not really set up to do hollow ground blades but we can talk). i
i also do modifications. send me an email and a number to call if you have any questions. i can call anywhere in the states or canada.

partially serrated knives with a normal edge in front of serrations.
if a blade has partial serrationis that are not trashed (only slightly dull with a slight shine to the edges) and in good shape (not bent or mashed down), i do them for free. i do not grind on the back side of a serrated blade which will take life from the serrations and cause the edge to be too obtuse causing a loss in cutting performance.

i charge $1. per inch for a basic v edge. convex edges are slightly more depending on the blade. regrinds must be discussed.

just got back my third knife from richardj....sent a swiss army knife, a custom hargis knife, and a D2 steel knife....these blades came back in two days from his receipt of them and the edge was great on all of them.
the edge profile was shiny and sharp and just what a blade should be. two of the knives i sent to him were new and never even cut anything...and his edge was better than the manufacturer. A+ for his work.
 
same here. lets hope the weather is nice and not roasting when you are able to come up
 
i'm glad you like the edge. you cant beat the paper wheels for sharpening. remember to let me know when you get yours set up :D
 
Richard has sharpened several of my knives and always puts on a great edge :thumbup:

Do you have anyone who can duracoat a blade? I have one im looking to get reprofiled, sharpened and duracoat all in one. Thanks
 
Got my Queen cutlery mountain man folder back from Richard a few days ago.Man,what a difference.The factory edge on this knife was about as sharp as a butter knife.I was not able to get a good edge on that hard D2 steel by myself. Richard put a nice sharp razor edge on that sucker and now all is good.Best part is now I can maintain it myself with my sharpmaker.Thanks for your help,and it was great talking with you.
 
I just got some knives back from Richard. Every one now have a fantastic edge on them. Thanks Richard!!!!!! I'm sending more!!
 
Just got my CS Urban Shiv back... scary sharp. I'll be following his advice and making a kydex reinforced leather sheath for it.
 
Richard sharpened my Fallkniven F1/3G when I was no longer able to put a good edge on it. This man is a blade wizard; effortless push-cuts through paper! Thank you Richard!
 
Can wait to get my big chopper back from Richard. He's good people. If anyones looking for a good dude to deal with, Richards the man! :thumbup:
