Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

Had lunch today with Tim of the Tim Knotts Knives type and was given the coolest knife that has ever existed in history... period.

Check out that freaking shield...

The peach seed jigging on the bone is insane, straight out of a century ago. My favorite blade and pattern along with two features that I really like, a long straight pull and banded bolsters. The Cowbell shield is icing on the cake. A beautiful knife and an absolute prized possession. Thanks Tim!

There’s nothing I don’t love about that knife, the jigging is about as good as it gets too!

Sweet shield 😎

Got the two eldest out of mums hair for a few hours yesterday. Didn’t catch a fish but they had a ball.

Flynn is getting the hang of using lures.

I took my grandkids, about the same age this summer and it was a blast. I think tthat was the most fun I've had fishing in years.

It is great, I’ve got two younger ones as well so plenty more fishing to come.

I like fishing but I’d never choose it over hunting so having them pushing me to take them reminds me it’s actually pretty good fun.

Venison I shot last weekend and eggplant from the garden tonight.

Now that looks good. I cooked up some chicken tenders and some ground turkey for different meals, but I am starting to get tired of eating for lunch and dinner, should have a frozen some for later. Now I keep changing it up to use it. We got snowed in for two days, icy roads.

Went down for another Hitchcock tonight, Vertigo on the big screen in the front row was awesome.

Caution, geek content ahead:
I always guess which year movies were made by the cars. A lot of city street scenes in Vertigo, I was at 1957 through most of it but caught a couple of '58 Buicks which I think was a body style change for them that year. I looked it up afterward and the movie was made in 1958. The strange thing to me was I didn't see any older cars. It was like the oldest car was maybe a few years old at most. I'm guessing the car companies poured in new vehicles to Hollywood back then for promotion, either that or everyone in San Francisco in 1958 had a brand new car!

North by Northwest in the theatre tonight. Great movie, even better on the big screen, the kids loved it.

Wanted to check in with everyone, I've been quiet lately and don't like to leave you guys in the dark. February has given us a punch to the gut in the Redmeadow family. I prefer to keep it private for now. Just know that we're all still percolating but not running on all 8 cylinders. Hope everyone is doing well, hug the one's you love and even the one's you don't! I appreciate you guys and a big thanks to the one of you that I spoke with yesterday.

My thoughts are with you and the family mate. I hope everything turns out ok.
