Finally got part of the fence built. Be nice when I get the other two sides finished. Got to figure out what kind of fire pit area I want to build back in the corner. Notice I saved all the old rail fence posts to burn in my pit.

Just as I was getting to my cabin today on my ATV, a frigging porcupine was heading towards the woods from close to the cabin. I only had my 629 with hardcast Buffalo Bore rounds with me, so I put the wheeler in park and launched off and squeezed off a round at about 25 yards as he was making a getaway. Nailed him. I go check on it, and then get back on my ATV to ride up to the front, and another porcupine is headed the other direction at a run, trying to make it to the drop off in front of the cabin. Holy cow- could not get any closer than 40 yards, but got it as it was dropping over the side. They had been trying to get into my shed.

Edited to add the second one was a lucky shot!

It's a bit loud for a few seconds on a cold start , then mellows out very nicely!!!
