Looks like those rear tires on the old flatbed needed a few more psi for that load!

That was 80 PSI

I may have been a little over weight...


The truck had new shocks and 10 ply E rated tires and I wasn't going very far or very fast or I wouldn't have attempted it.

I know exactly how it happened. I was throwing firewood out of the trailer into the gravel road at the trailhead we use to walk to camp, and I used a piece to hold the trailer hitch up. I then dropped the hitch on the ground when I was done unloading and backed the car overtop of the hitch so no one could steal it without moving my car. I had the kids help carry it up to camp (they load a utility wagon and push it up the trail, 6.5, 6 & 3 years old. I totally forgot to mention to leave that one piece. Aaaaaand later at camp when I was swinging to split it, I saw the rock in the wood at the last second, but it was too late. Never again!!
