Looks like it’s been a while since someone posted on this great thread, and I know it’s not because Ricky’s knives aren’t being used.

Here’s what I am carrying today, a #MenefeeMade backpocket with a 3-1/2” blade, lovely swedge, burlap micarta covers, and a stylish micarta shield. Brass liners add some ooomph in looks and heft.

Ricky sends his knives out sharp - you should see how this baby slices through fresh muffins! Like a hot knife through butter!

LOL, I’m wearing one of my wife’s aprons right now, finishing a batch of maple syrup on our kitchen stove. I gotta do everything I can to keep my “T levels” up!

It’s Menefee Monday! Three filet knives Ricky made for me, and it’s a month out from our fishing opener so this is what I’m thinking about.

Someone mentioned the micarta looked like a shag rug. Shag rag, has a ring to it. I love Rick’s swaybacks.
