Hard cat maxing out on holiday foods. Despite their slow nature, it was hard to get decent pictures of the beast. It’s almost like they’re too quick, metaphysically . Later tried to catch one but it “ran” under the deck.

They can get in and out of the barn at will. Chris built some kind of a little heat system for them in there.

I mean, he does what I tell him to. He defies cat stereotypes and is obedient like a dog.

Here’s an example: just now I heard a strange sound from behind the sofa. I said out loud “what was that”, then Smokey walked up to me and meowed, and I said “can you go investigate please?”. Gave him a little back scratch, and then he sauntered over there and he’s still back there. Love that guy.

No pics but a couple hours ago I caught and brought inside a healthy opossum. Brought her in to show a couple buds, been telling them how easy it is. Gently set her back on the grass and she was back on her way.

Yep! That's actually one of three that live in there. The Count. The other two are Mittens and Indy.

I have to keep correcting Chris though. It's no longer a haymow. It's a haymeow.
