ShepardCC: Custom Knife Scales & Backspacers **Books OPEN**

Pictures can't do any justice to how amazing this LSCF scale looks and feels, but I'll post them anyway. I can't thank you enough, Eric! It's exactly what I wanted! I was worried that the 800 grit finish would be too polished but, it's absolutely perfect!

Thank you!

Awesome pictures! Glad everyone is happy so far with what I've done for them :)
I'd rather take a little longer and make it right then fly these works out the door.

I'll be sure to take a plethora of pics of my Schempp Tuff, and my acid washed Swick (And non acid washed once I install the scales). I have a feeling already that my Tuff will dropkick all of my other knives out of my pocket for at least a month. The Lava is mostl likely next on my list, though I've been "Test Driving" a Gayle Bradley for a little over a week now and I'm sure I'll end up with one. I'd rather have new scales on that one than the twill CF that Spyderco already does on the Chaparral (Because I already have one) so that could jump to my second in line for new handle scales if I find a good used one.

I'm finally done with all the finishing touches and I'm mailing them out to you this week. So you'll have them soon.
The Gayle Bradley is a sweet knife. I don't really care for.any of the Spyderco top layer cf handles. Either do it or don't. I know why they do it but to me it's like those old Pontiac Fieros with the Ferrari body shell kits on them so they look like a Ferrari even with the symbol on them.

I'm not as much of a fan of the twill CF they use on the Galye Bradley (I'd sooner have G10 I think), but on my Chaparral 1 I wouldn't have any other scales...they just work perfect on that knife. I'm indifferent to them on the Sage 1 as well.

I reprofiled the Manix blade to mimic that of the Dodo. I love the Dodo blade shape but I hate the handle. I do however love the Manix handle.

Here is my Sprint Mando

That is awesome! I've always thought the Dodo was a cool design, I just don't like small knives. This fills that gap, I dig it!

I made New Carbon Fiber Scales, I added a finger choil, I acid and stone washed the blade, I sharpened on the wicked edge, and I bead blasted the frame lock side. Oh and it still has the speed assist. I milled it out by hand.

Finally finished my move. Still setting up the new shop. Sorry for any and all delays. Wasn't expecting it, but hey its life. Anyway, again I apologize. Should be back up and running in the next few days and I'll be getting a lot of orders done ;)
