ShepardCC: Custom Knife Scales & Backspacers **Books OPEN**

The anticipation has been awfully strong over the last few weeks...needless to say I'm very stoked. I'm also surprised it's here so soon after you shipped it...normally there's more time added on to the shipping time, especially given the combination of an address North of the 49th, and a rural address to boot. I'm almost 100% sure that I'll send you my Lava next.

Opened them up today and WOW!!! Many thanks Eric, I couldn't be happier with how these turned out. Here's some preliminary photos I snapped of them (It's snowing outside so outdoor pictures in the sunlight will have to wait a little).

The added thickness of the new scale on my Schempp Tuff, coupled with the more rounded and smooth edges, make this thing feel WAY better in my hand than it did with the cratered black G10 it came with. This just went from a really good knife to a properly awesome knife. I could be wrong, but I'd be willing to bet it's more sheeple friendly than it was before too (On top of being much more aesthetically pleasing). I'll find out before too long I expect.

I totally agree, the thickness creates a new kind of Monster....Eric has my Dodo and I'm hoping for the anso pattern in thicker G10 as well. I'll post pictures when it arrives. He is taking pimping to a new level, just saying.

Can't wait to hear how that goes and look forward to those outside pics. Super happy you love the work :)

Couldn't be happier. You gauged the thickness of the Swick scales perfectly as well, and the drain hole you left is probably the most inconspicuous I've seen on a Kydex sheath. We had a good blizzard yesterday, though it's well above freezing today so it all melted away (Calgary has one of the hardest weather patterns to predict of any city in North America...we get a bit of everything, and sometimes at strange times of the year), and I was at the gun show in town all day today. Outdoor pictures tomorrow for sure though.

Great work. A John Deere spacer would look cool on a Techno as well (my 2 year old son has a serious tractor fascination going on)

I'm still debating whether or not I should send you my Lava or Ulize next. That lava flow kirinite would look awesome on the Lava, but I have yet to see a customized Ulize, and that could also turn out seriously cool...hmmm...decisions decisions...
