Show us your Charlie Campagna SFOs

Mr. Waynorth,
Things have a way of getting back to where they belong. That's the way it's supposed to be.
We have left the high mountains of Oregon and returned to the Gulf Coast of Texas.
Stay well friend,
Hose56
Hope you enjoyed Oregon, home of the famous Show!!

I hope I am not boring you'all with yet another pic of old Boiley!!
But I thought these might be of interest - this could be a before and after picture all in one frame!!:D
Sitting next to the Prototype; the knives are from the very first Barlow run! As you can see, they had a very "light" sawcut, before I asked Bill to make the sawcut more "distinct"!
You can see the blade on Boiley is down between 5% and 10%. The heat treat on these knives is as good as it gets, keeping the edge for unreasonable lengths of time, with light stropping!!
The bone handles are from the same Dye batch, showing wear, and the "ordeals" Boiley went through!!:p Could be my most faithful companion, next to my sweet wife!!;)TC Day 1.jpg TC Day 2.jpg TC Day 3.jpg TC Day 4.jpg

Well, thanks to a happy glance at a post on reddit, and a friendly Brit sharing the fact that his dealer still had some in stock, this knife has made its way back to the States (IA, to be precise) after taking a year abroad in Cornwall, UK. (Please excuse the smudges, I was too excited to get pictures right away!) My Ancient Barlow has been my most frequent EDC since I acquired it, but it may have to start sharing a little pocket time after I clean this one up, give it some fresh oil, and a light honing to really make the edge pop.

I was thinking of you the other day, hoping you were going okay in the current state of play, then i saw on our news late last night that there was a new case after more then 3 months. I really hope you get it sorted before it gets out of hand, it's a debacle over here. You take care and look after yourself mate and stay safe. PS-Hope you get your knives shortly.

Shown it before..but do you object?;)

Anyway, the dried Cranberries told me to do it :D

One of my favourite patterns, great shield and etch, fine bone and from the heady days when GEC dared to take on the unfamiliar  Charlie & Lyle worked their magic on GEC, the rest is history...
