Yepper ... and mine has gotten much darker with age and use. It's a favorite of mine for sure.

That image from GEC's website is exactly the one I looked at yesterday to convince me of the color of my #72.

The photo I posted was several years old, but my #72 is still not nearly as dark as yours!

OD green canvas Micarta is my favorite handle material, but for some reason this is the only knife I have in this material. Don't get me wrong - I love other types of Micarta - other colors of canvas, or OD green linen, or vintage Micarta, etc. (I also love wood or jigged bone or....) But the OD green canvas is supreme for me.
