I took the slip sheath that it arrived with and installed a grommet on one side and threaded some slim paracord through that so that will loop around my belt loop and I can just drop the sheath into my pocket and pull the cord to retrieve it, or I can wear it around my neck like a neck sheath if I am working in the shop and want to be able to reach it easier.

I used some contact cement to glue down a layer of soft elk skin on one side, it is very springy and provides some retention so the knife doesn't fall out if the sheath is tipped over, making it a nice secure carry now.

if you guys/gals have slip sheaths that don't hold your knife in place, you might want to try adding something in there to increase the snuginess of the situation...(new word I made up)
