I sure hope it is good, it looks good, hopefully some experts will chime in.I just bought this PM2 and would love some help to determine if it is real because I'm not 100% sure.

From what I can see, it’s genuine. To confirm, check your liners; real PM2s have 3 milled holes, and also have the notches in the liners around the middle of the handle (start/stop point of the laser cutting).I just bought this PM2 and would love some help to determine if it is real because I'm not 100% sure.

It has the mikled holes and the notch. I wasn't sure about the jimping and the little logo on the back of the blade seemed lower. From what I can see, it’s genuine. Love the Civilian! Just calls out to me in a way. It is beautiful. The fact you say it is beat up, did you use it in a utility sense? I was thinking it would do well for some tasks.A beat up C12 civilian
I thought I was responding to a different thread with that response, lol. That model isn’t made for utility. If you like the shape and want a more usable knife check out the matriarch.
I would mark it with a 10# sledge lol.If you receive a clone, how should you mark the blade as such, without power tools? Should I try to scratch the Spyder logo off, or mar the ricasso logos if I can't engrave "FAKE" into it?
I think I have a fake M4 tanto coming in and I do not want it to be ever passed off as genuine or confused with the real deal.
Lol, straight up, I just want the pretty Jade scales, honestly. I am very curious to see how a fake-ass comp-lock feels. I have had someone today report that they have never had a comp lock that drop-shuts without blade play... ALL my comp locks drop shut and have no blade play, except the one I put together myself for the first time, tiny amount of BP, but I did that to it.I would mark it with a 10# sledge lol.
