Elk is more than welcome

So long as it comes from the family Cervidae then it's legit. Animals who naturally shed their 'headgear' from time to time giving ANTLER as opposed to HORN. Cervine animals include Deer of all species (Sambar, Muntjac, Père David, Red, Fallow, American Elk et al.) Reindeer/Caribou, Elk (European) which is Moose (N.American) .

What's not desirable is stuff posing as Antler ....;) thus Bonestag, Stagbone (lit.the skeleton of deer 😂 but in reality bone worked to look like Stag) or then there's very faux Delrin Stag....which has its merits true, but no, nej, ei, nyet, nein, non!

Thanks Will! Appreciate the accurate and unambivalent info.
"Animals who naturally shed their 'headgear'"makes perfect sense and allows for my favorite, "Elk".
Might have to start a staglon/delrin thread just to show it little respect. :)
Will Power Will Power hope you are having a sensational Sunday sir!

Will Power Will Power , we're at 42 deg N and probably 30 or so days away from those temps but that's when I'll voluntarily be mostly home bound. But I'll tell ya what, cooking and wine tasting sounds like an enjoyable past time. Stay warm my friend.
Best regards, -James
